14th September 2011 Millionaireasia in partnership with luxury fashion brand Lanvin invited selected members to join us for champagne and canapés at Lanvin’s boutique in Landmark Central. Master tailor Mr. Frédéric Gelberg flew in from Paris and shared some of his insights and experiences with guests. In addition to enjoying the range of ready to wear men’s clothing guests also had the rare opportunity to be fitted for a suit by Lanvin’s leading tailor.
3rd Sep 2011 Property Investment Exhibition and Seminar (PIES Hong Kong) PIES once again hand picked a selection of the most interesting and compelling property investment opportunities from around the world, bringing them together for this private exhibition held at the Residences, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. With high yielding commercial property through to luxury beach villas, some of the most amazing private residences in Australia, private islands, private golf courses and even Asia’s largest sailing yacht and much more, members enjoyed the opportunity to meet the people behind the projects at this private event. Later in the afternoon guests were treated to chocolate and wine pairings and enjoyed an exclusive fashion show with handmade resort wear and jewellery. In the evening a handful of selected VIPs were invited to join the investment seminar where they heard from property investment luminaries flown in from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.
11th Aug 2011 Members with an interest in fine timepieces were invited to the Glashutte boutique in Causeway Bay for an exclusive evening of wine and watches.
Glashutte had on display the full range of watches from this year’s Basel Fair as well as the rare Senator Diary timepiece.
Guests heard from a local watch expert as to what makes Glashutte a truly unique brand, while enjoying fine German wines courtesy of Bacchus Wines.
3rd August 2011 The Millionaireasia team joined selected members for an evening of gentlemanly pursuits at the City Links Golf Lounge, Central.
Guests tried their hand at the golf simulators and vied for the amazing prizes on offer including a return flight to Fiji (courtesy of Air Pacific) and a bottle of 30 year old Ballantine’s premium scotch whisky signed by Ian Poulter, Ernie Els and Lee Westwood.
Also on show was a selection of some of the most interesting and exciting “boys toys” – powerful home entertainment courtesy of Blade speakers from KEF, Osim showcased their new luxury massage chair and perhaps the ultimate boy’s toy, a private island in Fiji.
Guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the golf lounge and the Ballantine’s whisky flowed until late…
Oil wells, property development and art investments were on the agenda at Millionaireasia’s 38th Summit held at the Mira Hotel on 23rd February 2011.
Millionaireasia’s members heard from Paul Woodward Director at Atlas International Asia who explained that the London property market is entering a new phase of growth and development.
One Energy is in the business of re-stimulating oil fields and wells, they have a 100% success rate and with the increasing price of oil per barrel their investment options are worth considering. China has emerged as a fast growing art buying market with Christie’s revealing that the region accounted for a fifth of their sales. Jon Reede Managing Director of Art Futures Group talked about art as an alternative investment.
